| About IVC |
Our History
“the birth of anything is evident that
what is potential in it is necessary for that generation
and beyond”
The birth of IVC was one that one would describe
as nothing short of a miracles. It was on 6/8/2000
in a workshop at UG primary school in Eldoret that
the first service was held.this followed well over
two months of daily prayer and on a appreciation
goes out to Mr &Mrs Njogu and their children for
making their home available for this purpose. That
Sunday morning is fresh in our minds as if it accrued
yesterday we had nothing to use for our fellowship
, No guitar, no keyboard , no microphone literally
"nothing" we clapped our hands and I remember Mama
Sonny coming with a drum that we used , That reminded
me of my old days as a youth in our home P.A.G Church.
We soon moved to the main hall at U.G primary school,
and our special appreciation goes to the headmaster
and all those in leadership of this school. We shall
forever tank God for this standing with us at the
very tender stage of this ministry |
| TENT |
There are such unity of purpose
among us .We were small but great family, committed
to success. The brethren raised money to the construction
of our own tent and its is amazing how more than
Kshs 600,000/= was raised in about three months
with out guest of honor and there we had our own
tent on rented property .
We met in the tent for two Sundays then it was brought
down by strong December winds At first it looked
very devastating , but we held ourselves together |

and started rebuilding if I saw demonstration of :
1. Love
 2. Sacrificial giving
 3. Ownership of the Vision and
 4. Unwavering commitment to the “baby” IVC
Within a short time, we were in our new tent; we experienced
great times of prayer and service. The Attendance started
going high until we stated a second service. |
